Responsibilities
Develops and executes test plans, procedures and scenarios for unit, process, function, system integration and acceptance testing. Consults with the development and/or requirements team to coordinate test applications. Develops schedules. Creates test scripts. Tests existing applications for compliance with upgrades. Ensures new applications and software modifications meet requirements and operate satisfactorily. Ensures that the software interfaces with new and existing systems. May build test environments to include installing appropriate software. Documents the success and/or failure of all executed tests.

Experience
Mandatory skill requirements: 1. Experience testing across back-end, service tier and presentation layer 2. Ability to perform analysis of requirements to ensure testability 3. Ability to create technical and functional test scenarios and automated test scripts 4. Ability to independently execute tests and analyze results Optional skill requirements: 1. Prior engineering or software development experience 2. Prior experience testing packet-based protocols 3. Prior experience with JMS API 4. Experience with Agile development methodology

BS in Computer Science desired, but not requried
