Capabilities - Network and System Administration

IIS provides enterprise infrastructure support, including network management, system/server management, helpdesk and desk-side support, and asset management. We encourage our personnel to obtain certifications from Microsoft and Cisco.

Network Management

IIS network engineers and network administrators assist an organization in monitoring and managing their network 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, from their network operations center. IIS also assists in improving current performance and planning for future network enhancements.

Certifications

IIS encourages its employees to become CISCO certified as:

  • CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • CISCO Certified Design Associate (CCDA)
  • CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP)

System/Server Management

IIS provides UNIX and Windows systems administrators to keep servers operation at their peak efficiency.

Certifications

IIS encourages its employees to become Microsoft certified as a:

  • Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE)

Help Desk Support

IIS provides personnel to staff help desks, answer help calls, manage scheduling and dispatching of desk-side assistance, and perform service tracking using tools such as Remedy.

Desk-Side Support

IIS desk-side personnel install, trouble shoot, and resolve hardware and/or software problems at user workstations and also perform limited user training of software products such as Microsoft Office.

Asset Management

IIS also assists in control of IT hardware assets and software licenses form the time of purchase through disposal.
